This ALOGIC USB 2.0 Extension Cable - Type A Male to Type A Female is mostly used to extend a USB 2.0 connection between a USB enabled peripheral like a Keyboard, Mouse, hard drive etc and a USB 2.0 port on a computer or a connected USB Hub. The cable is also backwards compatible with USB 1.1 specifications.
